Description

The Salvador 1016 is a 1-channel DALI-to-Casambi bridge from Dalcnet that makes an existing DALI network (D4i, DT6, DT8) controllable via the Casambi Bluetooth mesh, supporting up to 16 DALI devices on the channel. Bus-powered from the DALI bus, input 9.5–22.5 VDC, max 250 mA. The compact 40.4 × 36.3 × 14.0 mm housing mounts with 3.5 mm screw holes directly onto the DALI bus – no separate 230V connection is needed at the unit. IP20, operating range -20…+55°C. Wiring a Salvador 1016 onto an existing DALI installation makes the whole DALI group visible and controllable from the Casambi app alongside other wireless Casambi nodes, useful when renovating a site that already has DALI cabling but lacks wireless scene control. Supports DALI-2 device types (D4i, DT6 for dimming, DT8 for colour/TW). Confirm the number of DALI devices on the bus stays within 16 and that the bus's total current budget covers both the gear and the Salvador unit. Suited to smaller DALI groups – a room or zone – that need Casambi connectivity.
