Description

The MSA227S-IR-B1 is a Merrytek PIR presence sensor with a built-in daylight sensor and Casambi Bluetooth, built for high mounting (2–8 m ceiling height). Mains supply 100–240 VAC (230V nominal), a 1-channel on/off relay rated for up to 800 W resistive or 400 W inductive load, working current 20 mA. PIR coverage is roughly ø8–10 m depending on mounting height, with a 0–1200 lux daylight sensor to avoid switching on when there's already enough natural light. IP54 makes the sensor resistant to dust and splashing water, suiting stairwells, garages and other semi-exposed spaces. Can be mounted recessed or surface-mounted, Ø55 mm cut-out, overall size 105×105×90.8 mm. Operating range -25…+50°C. Hold time is adjustable from 2 seconds to 30 minutes to control how long the light stays on after the last movement. CE and RoHS marked. Connects wirelessly to the Casambi Bluetooth mesh for scheduling, grouping with other lighting and network-level daylight compensation. Confirm the connected gear stays within the relay's maximum load before installing. Suited to stairwells, corridors and garages that need high-mount presence control with daylight compensation.
